There have been some good articles on the Proton blog, recently, breaking down the ways that ISPs and router vendors can monitor, collect and share information about your browsing habits (and more) 🕵️

Sadly, this is neither surprising nor unexpected ... and, when even some apps/services that ostensibly exist to offer protection from these threats may be problematic, it really does underline the need to actively question and think about how we use the internet.
