I always enjoy Geoff's writing and, as a perpetual CSS noob who struggles to keep up with the latest news from that space, I invariably learn something new about CSS by keeping an eye on his blog.

This is a great write-up on the pros and cons of using classes that exist only to make a selector more specific (and aren't actually used for styling), vs the alternative of using @scope.
